Abstract

This study aims to translate the first theme titled "Human Resources Management" from the book “Hospitality Management – A practical introduction” from English into Arabic. The primary objective is to clarify the concepts and terminology related to the hospitality industry by demonstrating the techniques that help translators produce efficient translations. At the outset of this research, we posed the following questions: What are the appropriate translation strategies and methods for translating hospitality industry terms? What are the most common challenges translators encounter when dealing with hospitality terminology? Our translation of the article " Human Resources Management in Hospitality Industry" highlights the ability of the Arabic language to express terms and concepts related to the hospitality industry effectively. This study employs an analytical and critical approach by examining several terms within our corpus, guided by the theory of sense by Seleskovitch & Lederer, stylistic comparison by Vinay & Darbelnet, and the documentary research methodology of Christine Durieux. Upon applying these theories, we obtained results that confirm the effectiveness of these methodologies in hospitality translation
