| dc.description.abstract | شهدت امريكا اللاتينية بعد اكتشافها من قبل الاوروبيين، ابادة واسعة النطاق للسكان الاصليين على يد المستعمرين الاسبان. اذ تميزت هذه الفترة بوحشية التعامل مع السكان الاصليين، وتعرضهم لأبشع انواع التعذيب والقتل والتهجير. بوسائل واساليب عسكرية اقتصادية واجتماعية مختلفة ومتعددة. وعلى الرغم من مقاومة السكان الاصليين للاستعمار الاسباني، الا ان السياسة الاسبانية واستراتيجيتهم الناجحة في القضاء على الاهالي وقوتهم العسكرية كانت كافية لحسم الانتصار للإسبان في كل اشتباك او معركة مع الاهالي. فالاستعمار الاسباني في امريكا اللاتينية، قضى حرفيا على ما لا يقل على 95بالمئة من اجمالي عدد السكان الاصليين في القارة، لما يمتد لأكثر من ثلاثة قرون عملوا فيها على تجريد القارة من هويتها الاصلية وتحويلها لقارة بثقافة وهوية لاتينية وتابعة للاقتصاد الاسباني والاوروبي. The indigenous people of the americas witnessed widespred extermination following their discovery by europeans, a tragedy carried out by spanish colonizers. This period was marked by brutal treatment of the native people, exposing them to various forms of torture, forced labor, displacement, and mass killings despite their resistance to spanish colonialism, the native people of america faced systematic compaigns, including imilitary, economic, and soccial strategies, that ansured spanish dominance, these compaigns ultimately led to the suppression of native people revolts and the cementing of spanish control over the americas. spanish colonization of the americas resulted in a massive demographic collapse, more than 95% reduction in the indigenous population over three centuries, this was due to forced labor, cultural destruction, and the exploitation of the americas resources, reshaping them into colonies that served spanish economic and cultural interests. | |
