This work deals with the borders and the impacts of translating a historical text. Through the study and the analysis of our corpus consisting of Camp David Accords, we try to answer the questions turning around the main difficulties of translating this kind of texts. Besides, we present some suitable techniques to be applied to succeed in this type of translations. Through this work, we also discuss and argue the need of any translator to overcome and go beyond the cultural, ideological, and politico-judicial aspects. The study draws some examples from the chosen corpus to show these aspects and their influence on the process of translation. The study is carried out in the frame of contrastive linguistics approach and the interpretive theoryen
