    Political terminology in the translation of chapter 4 from الدولة book by أحمد عبد الحفيظ

    This research aims to investigate the procedures and approaches of translation that we may adopt to overcome the major problems of terminology and meaning rendering of a political text. The study is based on a corpus, which consists in the forth chapter of the book of the Egyptian writer Ahmed ABD ELHAFID entitled "الدولة" . We suggest a translation from Arabic into English to the whole chapter then we focus on the rendering of specific terms by using Jean Paul VINAY and Jean DARBELNET’s procedures as well as Danica SELESKOVITCH and Mariane LEDERER’s theory. This research is carried out in the frame of direct translation procedures and the interpretative theory.
