Studysummary The present study aimed to determine whether heart disease leads it the developmentofpsychologicaltrauma;italsosoughttoexploretheextenttowhich trauma symptoms such as reexperiencing, confrontation, and avoidance appear in affected individuals, additionally, the study aimed to assess hearth patients awareness if the presence if social support and whether such support has an impaction their psychological wellbeing To achieve the study’s objectives, the clinical method was see-through the case study technique, the sample consisted of nine Indi duals suffering from cardiovascular diseases, all Of whom were hospitalized at the YassefAmer cardiovascular surgery hospital in DRAA BEN KHEDDA, the Studyreliedonthefollowingtoolssemistructuredclinicalinterviews,clinical observation, and objective tests, specifically the psychological trauma scale by MANSOURI LEILA, and the perceived social support scale by NIAB AHLEM Thestudyconcludedwithfollowingresults: • Mostofthecasesstudiedsufferfromahighlevelofpsychologicaltrauma • Themajorityofparticipantsexhibitedtraumasymptoms,particularly repricing, confrontation, and avoidance Heartpatients’awarenessofsocialsupporthelpsreducetheirlevelof psychological trauma.arالصدمة النفسيةمراض القلب والشرايينThesis
