Abstract
إن الهدف الرئيسي من هذه الدراسة هو تسليط الضوء على الدور الفعال الذي تلعبه المجموعات الرقمية في دعم التكوين الجامعي والبحث العلمي داخل الجامعات، من خلال تجربة المكتبة المركزية لجامعة مولود معمري كنموذج، فقد أصبحت هذه المجموعات إحدى الركائز الأساسية التي تعتمد عليها المؤسسات الجامعية في تطوير منظومتها التعليمية والبحثية نظرا لما توفره من مصادر معلوماتية الكترونية متنوعة وسهلة الوصول.
سعت الدراسة إلى إبراز كيفية مساهمة المجموعات الرقمية في تعزيز العملية التدريسية للأساتذة حيث ساعدت على تطوير الأداء وتحديث المعارف والانخراط بشكل أعمق في البحث العلمي لدعم التكوين الجامعي وتطويره، اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي وتم جمع المعطيات من خلال توزيع استبيان إلى عينة من الأساتذة من اجل تقييم مدى استخدامهم للمجموعات الرقمية ومدى استفادتهم منها وكشف العراقيل والمعوقات التي تواجههم.
أظهرت النتائج وجود وعي متزايد بأهمية الموارد الرقمية حيث يستخدمها الأساتذة في الحياة العملية، كما اثبت الدراسة أن المجموعات الرقمية تسهل الوصول إلى مصادر حديثة مما يعزز من قدرة الباحثين على الاطلاع للإنتاج العلمي، إلا أن هناك تحديات منها ضعف التكوين والتدريب في استخدام هذه الموارد، محدودية بعض التخصصات في تغطيتها الرقمية، بالإضافة إلي مشكلات تقنية مثل ضعف الانترنت في المكتبة والعديد منها.
استنادا إلى هذه النتائج توصي الدراسة بضرورة وضع خطط لتطوير البنية التحتية الرقمية للمكتبة المركزية، وزيادة فرص التكوين والتدريب المستمر للأساتذة في مجال الموارد الرقمية وتوسيع أيضا المجموعات الرقمية لتشمل كل المجالات العلمية والعمل على رفع مستوى الوعي بأهمية هذه المصادر، توسيع الاشتراكات في قواعد البيانات إلى جانب ذلك رقمنة الرصيد الوثائقي الورقي، وتكثيف الجهود في نشر ثقافة استخدام المجموعات الرقمية داخل الوسط الجامعي.
The primary objective of this study is to highlight the effective role digital collections play in supporting academic education and scientific research within universities, using the experience of the Central Library of Mouloud MAMMERI University as a model. These collections have become one of the fundamental pillars upon which university institutions rely in developing their educational and research systems, given the diverse and easily accessible electronic information resources they provide.
The study sought to highlight how digital collections can enhance the teaching process for professors, helping them develop performance, update knowledge, and engage more deeply in scientific research to support and develop university education. The study relied on a descriptive analytical approach, and data was collected by distributing a questionnaire to a sample of professors to assess their use of digital collections, their benefits, and the obstacles they face.
The results showed a growing awareness of the importance of digital resources as professors use them in their professional lives. The study also demonstrated that digital collections facilitate access to up-to-date sources, enhancing researchers' ability to access scholarly output. However, challenges remain, including poor training and education in the use of these resources, limited digital coverage in some disciplines, and technical problems such as poor internet access in the library and many others.
Based on these findings, the study recommends the development of plans to develop the central library's digital infrastructure, increase opportunities for ongoing training and education for faculty members in the field of digital resources, expand digital collections to include all academic fields, and work to raise awareness of the importance of these resources. It also recommends expanding subscriptions to databases, digitizing the paper documentation, and intensifying efforts to spread the culture of using digital collections within the university community.
