Abstract
Depuis longtemps, la maîtrise de l’orthographe est un enjeu central pour les chercheurs en didactique. Atteindre un bon niveau en orthographe est un objectif fondamental pour tout apprenant en langue, car elle constitue un critère essentiel de performance linguistique. A l’Université, nous avons constaté que de nombreux étudiants éprouvent des difficultés à écrire correctement en français. Cette recherche se focalise sur l’évaluation de niveau orthographique des étudiants algériens apprenant le français, en utilisant la structure de Nina Catach et d’autres écrivains français. Ce travail vise à offrir une évaluation objective du niveau de maîtrise des étudiants en comparant leurs résultats aux standards établis par ce cadre.
For a long time, spelling mastery has been a central concern for researchers in didactics. Achieving a good level in spelling is a fundamental gool for any language learner, as it is an essential criterion for linguistic performance. At the university level, we have observed that many students struggle with writing correctly in French. Research focuses in evaluating on spelling porficieney of Algerian students learning French, using the structure of Nina Catach and other French authors. The objective of this work is to provide and objective assessment of the students porficieney level by comparing their results with the standards established in this context.
